This course has been developed to help managers to implement primary, secondary and tertiary interventions around workplace stress
This course is delivered using a range of methods and resources including:
Face to Face tutor participative facilitation (whether in the classroom or online), scenarios for group discussions, polls, question and answer time, videos and end of session assessment.
This course has been developed and mapped to current occupational standards, qualification frameworks and the following documents and resources:
- HSE Tackling work-related stress using the management standards approach (2017)
- ISO 45003:2021 Psychological health and safety guideline
Learning Outcomes:
After attending this course, learners will be able to:
- Identify the main causes that can lead to work related stress
- Identify the signs of stress in workers and teams
- Legal framework on work related stress
- Carry out a stress risk assessment within their department or entire workplace
- Implement strategies for the prevention and management of psychosocial hazards and risks
- Signpost workers who are already stressed for further assistance
