Target Audience – Stress management training suits any audience
This course has been developed to improve the understanding of stress and how it affects an individual’s life and work experience and how it impacts all areas of life.
This course is delivered using a range of methods and resources including:
Face to Face tutor participative facilitation (whether in the classroom or online), scenarios for group discussions, polls, question and answer time, videos and end of session assessment.
This course has been developed and mapped to current occupational standards, qualification frameworks and the following documents and resources:
- HSE Tackling work-related stress using the management standards approach (2017)
Levels 3 to 4: the course is aimed at learners at level 3 to 4
Learning Outcomes:
After attending this course, learners will be able to:
- Define stress and describe stressors
- Describe the body’s reaction to stress
- Determine how stress shows up in different life areas
- Discuss various stress management techniques & skills
